"Matsutake mushroom pickers don’t work for wages, they don’t have bosses, they aren’t disciplined by market forces, and do not produce commodities.
They translate the messy reality of mushroom growth in forests recovering from industrial exploitation into sacks of mushrooms to be sold by brokers, who then sell them to exporters." - hm, so those ppl just give their harvest to othervppl for non-monetary rewards, or loosely-(friendly?) accounted money++...??
but bigger world still indirectly pressurized them into strip-harvesting whatever they harvest? again, without any silver bullet this might be tactic worth trying, but sadly in our era of accelerating money-currents (usual way, from bottom to top) even common folks pressed into doing not very long-strategic acts.. and because there quite a lot of common folks result can be... fast and unhappy. (like when ppl forced to overfish even if their understanding of limits was quite adequate for less-stressed era)
+1 get officially diagnosed.
It is worth it, you know your mind, you will be able to improve, although ADHD is for life.
I would love to spend the time to speak with you on my experiences with psychoactives.
I believe I have had somewhat of a "download," although it is hard to say.
Perhaps one day we will have the opportunity.
Perhaps my own struggles with ADHD will allow me to give a conversation with you the time it truly deserves.
It is nice to know I am not alone in this world; thank you for your writing.
I hope to do much the same; if I can ever manage the focus on something which doesn't immediately take care of a need, or provide ample distraction.
Yeah, getting a diagnosis is pretty high on my priorities. Just need to get the money for it. >_<
I don't have anything intelligent to say in response to this issue, but I do want to say that I loved it -- all of it. Thank you.

No, they collect an uneven, valuable product of nature and negotiate as high a price as they can with brokers who do not employ them.
