Been meaning to say for a while but you're totally great man, really really love your writing. Yours are vital stories (all versions: history of ideas, personal-biographical, metatextual) which for some reason I see almost nobody else telling, or at least not with such a brilliant method of humble curiosity. E.g. I'm still, months on, appreciating the way you summarised the concept of alienation (seriously, why have none of the lavishly-appointed 'mainstream' writers I read ever come close to that kind of thing?).
Have been lazily/cravenly hiding my appreciation behind reader-anonymity - but here it is, no more, I admit the deed!
Glad you're back wagon-borne - though if my vote has any value, I'm 100% unworried by writing-regularity; seasons model sounds good too, but hey the rhythms thereof might as well be chaos-theory weather-fronts as regular episodes.
